For centuries, rice water has been beneficial in many ways. Every time you cook rice, you should try to keep the water. It’ll be milky and odd-looking, but it’ll be completely worth it.

What Does Rice Water Do?
As the popularity of using rice water for hair increases, more and more researchers are searching for evidence of its benefits.
When I asked my mom what rice water does, she said that it made her hair softer and longer.
Also, since rice is entirely natural, she claimed that it was entirely safe for use on different parts of the body, especially hair. Based on various claims, rice water has tons of benefits.
Detangle Hair
First, many people claim that rice water is excellent for detangling hair.
Need something to detangle your thick and matted hair? Use it. It apparently loses hair follicles and their hair porosity in a way that makes styling manageable.
Other people claim that it is excellent for increasing the shine of hair. It also apparently makes hair smoother and stronger.
Dandruff and Lice
Some people have even claimed that it helps with dandruff.
My mother said that when she would have outbreaks of dandruff, she would use it continuously for about a week.
After a week, dandruff would be practically gone. Along with dandruff, different people have said that rice water works to banish lice.
The starch that is found in rice is what makes it so beneficial for many things. Starch kills lice and other tiny creatures instantly.
If you or someone you know is suffering from lice, you can use it and see how it works for you.
Quick Conditioner
If you ever need a quick hair conditioner, it is the way to go.
It’s useful and useful, and you can even turn it into a DIY project, where you add different elements to it.
Adding an essential oil has worked best for me in the past. When my hair is dehydrated, I use some rice water and tea tree oil to make a nice conditioning rinse.
When applying it, I add it to my hair after shampooing and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
After letting it sit, I rinse it out and air-dry my hair. After using this, I noticed that my hair was curlier and softer.
It also was extremely moisturized. If you notice that your hair needs some conditioning, don’t be afraid to try out the rice water and see if it works for you.
I even use this method to make my wigs like V-Part Wigs look shiny again.
Protects Hair From Damage
Rice water decreases friction and repairs the protein in hair.
It also improves hair elasticity. It’s been said that it contains inositol, which fixes damaged hair as well as protects it.
If you have damaged hair from heat or another, you might want to try out rice water and see how it works for you.
Also, since it’s so easy to make and natural, it won’t harm your hair like other hair products will. I use it when I notice that my hair is breaking off and needs short treatment.
How to Make Rice Water
Rice water is easy to make.
One way of getting rice water is to boil rice. The excess water left after cooking rice in water is what you’ll use.
To get started, get a pot and put some rice in it. Fill the bowl with water until it’s about 3/4 of the way over the rice.
The reason for this is that you’ll want to ensure you have excess water to use for your rinse. Boil the rice for some time until the liquid is cloudy and white.
Once the water is cloudy, you’ll need a filter to ensure that you extract the water from the rice. You can apply rice water directly after shampooing, or you can use it regularly throughout the week.
My mom loves to use rice water throughout the day when her hair is in need of treatment.
She uses a spray bottle and spritz it over her hair when it feels dry. After about a week, you should start to see improvements in your hair.
Overall, it is easy to make and use, and it’s all natural!
Miraculous!
Overall, rice water has its benefits!
You’ll want to make sure you do your research before using it. Also, you’ll need to ensure that you’re not allergic to it.
Don’t be afraid to step outside of the box and try something new. If you notice that your hair is looking a little dull, try adding a rice rinse or conditioning to your routine.
Rice water has been said to be amazing for many people, but as of now, there are no conclusive results. 🌾
