Mink Lashes Are a Girl's Best Friend

I know a lot of people have a love-hate relationship with lashes, but you have to admit they're pretty amazing.

What are mink lashes made of?
Private Label Extensions mink lashes are made of real mink fibers but don’t worry these lashes are 100% cruelty-free. Each mink hair gets masterfully woven into a cotton band, which makes it super lightweight and flexible.
How long will they last?
3D Mink lashes and 5D Mink Lashes have a lifespan of 25 uses or more with proper care.
Just because you can use these lashes multiple times doesn't mean they are indestructible.
Their cotton lash band makes them more susceptible to tearing than basic plastic lashes.
Avoiding the use of aggressive manipulation and the use of the appropriate maintenance routine can help increase the lifespan of your favorite mink lashes.
Lash Care
Keeping your 3D Mink Lashes in tip-top shape does not require much, but you would be surprised at the damage you do to your lashes daily.
Avoid applying your lashes before your eye makeup. The fallout from eyeshadows and creams can make your lashes harder to clean.
Remove your mink falsies nightly and place them back on the curved form. Sleeping in your lashes can lead to a torn lash band, crushed hairs, and potentially a bald eyelid!
Never apply mascara to your mink lashes! Mascara is supposed to enhance length and volume, but you've got lashes now, so there's no need.
Use mascaras that are not thick and clumpy on your natural lashes.
Just because 100% mink lash is durable and long-lasting doesn’t mean that the construction of the fine handmade eyelash strip is designed to withstand experimental (or even accidental) torture!
Remove the mink strip lashes from their tray or your eyelids by gently peeling off the outer corners of the lash band at the base.

Clean and disinfect them regularly.
Only a heated eyelash curler is safe to use with 100% mink lashes.
Clamp eyelash curlers can potentially damage the delicate shaggy curl or even accidentally cramp it.
A heated eyelash curler is easy to use (using mascara application-like motion) and helps to blend your eyelashes by naturally uplifting both.
While high-quality genuine mink lashes are treated to keep their shaggy curl, any excess water, and especially soaking, will contribute to them losing their shape because this is a natural 100% mink fur product (vs. ecologically UNfriendly synthetic!).
An easy and effective mink eyelash care tip: use a Q tip to rinse or disinfect the lash band.
Also, don’t forget to read your other eye makeup product labels to ensure that they do not contain oil either.
This is mink eyelash care ‘no-no’ as any oil residue will inevitably repel your eyelash glue or Lash Paste Liner from sticking to your mink eyelash band at your next lash application.
Remove the eyelash glue as promptly as possible after taking off the 100% mink strip lashes.
The longer the lash strip sits on the lash tray uncleaned, the stickier and gooier it will become.
This makes it more difficult to remove the glue residue later on and making your mink eyelash care a more challenging process.

How to Clean your Mink Lashes
Cleaning your lashes is imperative to being able to wear them multiple times.
If you wear one pair of mink lashes 4 or 5 times a week, you should clean them weekly.
Dust and bacteria can build up in your lashes and ruin your lashes or worse, cause an eye or lash infection. Avoid pink eye! Clean your lashes!
Before cleaning your lashes, you will need a few items.
Supplies:
- Used Lashes and lash tray
- Tweezers
- Alcohol
- Q-tips
Place the eyelash on your index finger so that the lash tips wrap around it to maintain their curl.
Use tweezers to carefully remove large pieces of glue residue from both the back and front sides of the lash band.
Use your fingernail to gently scrape off the remaining smaller pieces of glue from the lash band downward onto your index finger.
For cleaning the mink lashes, you should not use water or any other liquid. Water or any liquid substance might damage the shape, style, and curl of the lash.
Good quality lashes usually are made of a hundred percent natural hair. If you want to use them for a long time, avoid water soaking, and do not use any product for the cleaning.
To clean the length of the lash, apply a little alcohol to a Q-tip. Gently rub the q-tip down the length of the lash to get off any residue, dirt, and sanitize.
Place them back in their case or in a lash book, so that they do not lose their shape or fluff.
